Presenting our November tasting is Ashley Hall, who will look at the evolution of Italian wines from Roman Times to the present day. He will take us on a journey through the history of wine, noting the regional differences in grape varieties, styles and production methods that spring from the disparate nature of the smaller states that existed before the formation of the modern Italy, before tasting a selection of wines from all over Italy. The tasting will reflect the diversity of wine styles produced in Italy from fresh Sparkling wines, through delicate Rose’s to the bolder full-bodied Reds.
