Fat Larry’s Band became one of Philadelphia’s biggest recording Artists and hit number 2 in The UK charts with their massive hit “Zoom” reaching silver status. The song also was featured on the Christmas edition of Only Fool & Horses in 1982

In their decade as a recording entity, Fat Larry’s Band recorded nine albums, their first album to chart was 1982’s “Breakin’ Out”.  From that album Fat Larry’s Band had one of their biggest charting hits. It featured on the soundtrack CD to the 2002 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The name of this song is “Act Like You Know”. The song also stayed in The UK club charts for a staggering 38 weeks

Other hits followed including “Centre City”, “Boogie Town” & “Looking for Love Tonight”.
