The two most swinging Joes in Britain are teaming up for a one-night-only special at the Concorde. Between them, over the last few years they have notched up broadcasts on BBC Radio 2 and Sky Arts, performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, LSO St Lukes and Ronnie Scott’s and achieved no fewer than six number ones in the UK Jazz Chart.
The show will pay homage to Stilgoe’s heroes, Nat “King” Cole, Harry Connick Jr, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald, all set to a backdrop of Basie, Ellington and Goodman courtesy of the 17-piece LP Swing Orchestra.
