The Alex Voysey Blues Band presents ‘Faux Bonamassa’

Outstanding, energetic, breathtaking! A brilliant night – Alex Voysey’s guitar playing is out of this world’

The Alex Voysey Blues Band brings together 4 stunning musicians to reimagine the genius of Blues Titan, Joe Bonamassa.  Receiving rave reviews UK-wide, this energy-filled show brings together Bonamassa’s greatest songs of the last 2 decades blended with Alex’s own personal style of virtuosity, exceptional improvisation and contemporary blues mastery. A Bonamassa superfan, Alex not only has the playing capability to emulate this legend, he also has the nerd-knowledge to ensure it is done right!

Expect to hear all your Bonamassa favourites including ‘Sloe Gin’, ‘The Ballad of John Henry’, ‘Athens to Athens’, ‘Woke Up Dreaming’, ‘Dustbowl’, ‘A Conversation with Alice’, ‘Stop’ and many, many more.

Formed in 2021 by one of the very best contemporary blues guitarists, Alex Voysey, the band continue to go from strength to strength, constantly evolving and continuing to excite audiences wherever they go. Alex is joined by bass playing force-of-nature Ben Hands on his incredible Dingwall 6 string, drum maestro Paul Arthurs and keys wizard Andy Allpass. Together, they bring diverse musical backgrounds to the table, a huge breadth of experience, and revel in their shared love of Bonamassa.
