Winner of 6 Grammy Awards and 3 Academy Awards with over 70 top hits in the USA & 50 here in the UK, the show celebrates one of the greatest song composers of the 20th Century – together with lyricist Hal David, truly one of the greatest song writing partnerships in musical history.
Nicolas James presents an uplifting show which breathes new life into classic songs. Some of the world-renowned soundtracks we all know and love. Narrating the life story with the highs and lows of this incredible composer.
A modern interpretation of fresh, beautiful, and sharp arrangements from Bacharach’s wonderful repertoire, creating nostalgia, so that generations both young and old, can rediscover the magic of Bacharach’s music…… “What the World Needs Now”, “Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head”, “Magic Moments”, “Anyone Who Had a Heart”, “Arthur’s Theme” to name but just a few.
Both shows have been produced using the latest on-stage LED screen technology bringing the shows alive, incorporating special effects such as virtual musicians, film clips and photographic montages together with high tech animated graphics, offering an audience that extra wow factor!
