This exceptional British Nigerian, singer-songwriter performs at sell out concert halls and festivals around the world enjoying an enviable musical career through a relentless schedule both in the recording studio and as an international touring performer.
His music crosses cultural and musical boundaries. The emotion and virtuosity in his three-and-a-half octave baritone voice channels his poignant storytelling exploring his Nigerian roots, his Western upbringing, family life, and musical influences ranging from jazz to soul, world, and pop.
Ola has performed with some of Europe’s finest big bands including Grammy winning WDR Big Band, The SWR Big Band, The UMO Jazz Orchestra, The HR Big Band, Babelsberg Film Orchestra and many others collaborations.
Ola’s album, POINT LESS, was listed on many international publications as best album of the year including Downbeat Magazine (US), All About Jazz (US) and Jazz in Europe (Europe) amongst them.
Point Less’ is an album of songs that deal with the impact of the lives and requirements of the powerful on those of the powerless, sometimes with profound and fatal consequences.
