GEORGIE FAME & SONS
We are delighted to welcome Georgie Fame and his sons Tristan and James to the Concorde Club on the Wednesday 26th October for an intimate evening of super cool jazz and R&B from one of UKs finest musical exports.
With a career that spans more than 6 decades Georgie made his name in the ‘60s with three No. 1 hits and over 20 albums since. He has worked with Eric Clapton, Count Basie, Stevie Wonder, Muddy Waters, Van Morrison and Bill Wyman amongst others and is widely credited as being among the first artists to introduce Britain’s youth to soul, R&B, Blues and SKA.
Incredibly stylish, both musically and personally, Georgie’s performances are littered with anecdotes and stories of smokey blues clubs and jazz legends. His blend of jazz, beat, blues and R&B has withstood the test of time and his sound still sounds as cool as it did in the swinging ‘60’s.
