Jason Leonard won the highest international accolades possible: Grand Slams & the Rugby World Cup. The Honeypot Charity provides long term support for very vulnerable children aged 5–12 years. Many of these children are the main carer in their home, looking after a sick or disabled family member, the other children are victims of neglect or abuse. Our support starts with a week long holiday at our house in the New Forest & continues each year with repeat weekend breaks, 3 visits each year from our playbus to their own communities, birthday cards & Christmas presents, until they are 12 years old.
Honeypot allows children to be children again; to learn to play in a nurturing environment. They can forget their worries, enjoy positive experiences & activities. They go home with inner strength, more able to cope with their lives.
