The Concorde Club is looking to find THE new entertainment talent in Hampshire whilst raising much needed funds for the Rose Road Association
We are looking for any new talent from across the county to brave the panel of judges
& Concorde Club audience

• 2 paid engagements here at The Concorde Club

• Professional photoshoot at a local studio with award winning photographer to the stars - worth £500!

AUDITIONS
First rounds of auditions will take place on
Saturday 1 & 15 August
at the Concorde Club, Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 9HQ

The top 40 acts who survive the first audition then graduate to
the 3 live Semi Finals (Tuesday 8, 15 & 22 September) where they will be put through their paces & mercilessly whittled down until 12 acts remain.

In the final (Tuesday 6 October) the remaining 12 acts will battle it out in front of a distinguished panel of judges & a Concorde Club audience, until one act is crowned

Closing date for entry: Thursday 30 July 2009

• live in Hampshire (Hampshire postcode)
• be over 14 years old
  (under 18s need to be accompanied for evening rounds)
• Available to audition on:
  1st round - Sat 1 or 15 August 9.30am-1pm
  Semi Finals - Either Tues 8,15 or 22 September from 7.30pm
  The Final - Tues 6 October from 7.30pm
  Please note that there will be a rehearsal in the afternoon for the Semi Finals & Final
• Open to all types of act - singers/bands, magicians, jugglers, dog acts, comedians, dancers or any novelty act.
• Entrants need to pre-register
  
  First audition will be limited to maximum of 7 minutes per act
  Each act must inform the Concorde Club of any equipment they will be bringing in to use as part of their act inadvance of their 1st round audition.
  The judges decision is final
  Contestant may be photographed / filmed - this will be used for promotional purposes of the event
  
  Terms & Conditions
  Performance Limitations
  Any acts using knives, machetes or any type of pistol are strictly prohibited
  Acts are responsbile for bringing in all equipment needed for audition & is responsible for ensuring that any equipment used is safe
  Acts perform at their own risk
  
  Please note that the performance space area is:
  18 ft x 12 ft
  Height: 11ft 4"

  Terms & Conditions of Photoshoot Prize
  
• The photoshoot is limited to 2 hours max & is at or close to photographers studio in Whiteparish --- if elsewhere, the photographer reserves the right to charge the winning Artiste/s for travel & set-up.
• The shoot must be at a mutually convenient time --- the photographer can’t guarantee the day or the time of day
• The shoot must conform to Stuart McWilliam Photography's normal terms & conditions
• Stuart McWilliam Photography retains copyright of all images, & has permission to use them for its own PR/Promoptional purposes & on its website.
• Images will be presented to winner as high quality jpegs.
• Though Stuart McWilliam Photography wil try to accommodate all requests, they can’t promise.
• Excessive image manipulation & retouching will be charged (to the Artiste/s) as an extra at £45 + VAT per hour
